Whatever stokes your stack

Approximately, six years ago, I bought my first computer. It opened a world of possibilities for me. That year, Clinton was in his last days as our president. Very few of us had any idea of what would be coming down the pike; a flawed election in which the Supreme Court would step in and decide the outcome for the People of this great country.
Anyone who took an interest is these cataclysmic happenings may have seen it coming; a very corrupt government which would take the truth and, with the help of the popular news media, distort , conceal and twist facts. At the same time, presenting the Bush administration's propoganda as facts cut in stone.
I watched in silent horror as it all unfolded. I couldn't believe how rabidly the people bought into the lies spurred on by the attack on the World Trade Center, the Bush administration made quick headway with their lies.
I watched the United Nations televised on C-Span. I heard Bush arrogantly screaming at them and with a ghastly light on his presence made it seem like a horror movie. I watched as Colin Powel displayed what appeared to be retouched photos and maps of where he believed the
weapons of mass destruction were. Condoleeza Rice capped off the simulated nightmare with her prattle about "mushroom clouds".
Later on, as the smoke of shock from all this began to clear, and stronger minds began to work , we began to realize just how easily we were lead into the dark cave by an administration more foul than I could have imagined.
But , if some people were aware of the stakes for these insane neocons who stopped at nothing to dupe, impair and rape our country, most Americans were not. Most had very little interest in the impact of criminal seizure of our country, its armies and its resources.
Now , we struggle to fix what they have done to America; using propaganda and fear, they have wiped out our principles, our reason and our resources. Amazingly, a small proportion (thank God), are still living in unreality; still believing that the Bush regime has some hidden magical plan which will pull us out of this abominable predictament.
